#MVJ2021 Day 2

The New Google Tools for Journalists Webinar will introduce attendees to “Pinpoint,” new tools in the Google Earth program such as time-lapse, and advanced techniques for finding hidden pages and documents within the backend of websites.

Timelapse

Earth Timelapse is a global, zoomable video that lets you see how the earth has changed over the past – great for climate change and anthropological stories.

Pinpoint

Quickly find stories within troves of documents – even handwritten ones. Convert audio files to searchable text and use technology to see the big picture.

Jamboard

Jamboard is a tool for interactive communication across virtual spaces, and will be both presented and applied for use in this webinar.
